Econocom sales agent: our programme to help you succeed

Our many years of working with sales agents have forged our conviction that their success is directly linked to the quality of the support they receive. That's why, at Econocom, we've built a high-quality onboarding programme based on both human and financial support.

An onboarding programme with a single objective: your success

When you become a sales agent, the start-up phase can be a sensitive one. Familiarising yourself with a new status, training in Econocom's offerings, meeting the various people you'll be working with... there's a lot to take in. Because we don't underestimate these difficulties, we've put together a support plan to help you tackle your new activity with peace of mind. An onboarding programme designed with one simple objective in mind: to guarantee your success.

Commercial support

When you start your business, you will benefit from the support of an experienced sales manager for a period of 6 months. This Econocom advisor acts as a "facilitator" within the company. He or she will ensure that you are properly integrated into the entity for which you are going to work, help you to master the portfolio of products and services available to you, and refer you to the people who will be useful to you during this onboarding phase... and beyond!

Presentation and discussion
‘Agents play an essential role in the company's growth, and we do everything we can to ensure that they succeed. We attach the same importance to our sales agents as we do to our salaried sales staff. We know that becoming a sales agent requires a real change of mindset, and we are committed to supporting them in this transition phase.’

Find out more about the programme

As well as the commercial aspects and getting to know the company, you'll need to familiarise yourself with your new status. Becoming a sales agent is more than just a new job: it's a real change of mindset. To help you through this transitional phase, we offer you the chance to be mentored by a senior sales agent, whenever possible. With many years of experience behind them, they will be able to share their experience with you and answer any questions you may have.

The start-up phase requires a little patience. Although it can vary from one agent to another, we know that it takes between 6 and 18 months to build up a portfolio of customers who will generate commissions. To help you through this development phase, you can receive monthly financial assistance for the first few months. The amount and duration of this funding is determined on a case-by-case basis, according to the profile and situation of each individual.

You will benefit from an initial training programme for the first 6 months of your activity. This programme starts with an induction day to help you discover the company, its culture, values and ambitions. You will then be offered specific training on our offers, tools and processes so that you can develop your skills and meet the Group's sales staff, whether agents or employees.
This training programme is complemented by a "Sales Academy" held during the first year. This is an important opportunity to learn good business practices, meet your peers and become fully integrated into a community of agents.
