Econocom's sales agents are an essential part of our growth strategy. The quality of their recruitment is therefore a major issue for us. Across Europe, we're looking for experienced sales people who are experts in our businesses and have a real entrepreneurial spirit.

Unlimited remuneration

The status of sales agent offers a rare opportunity: that of deciding your own remuneration. The higher your sales performance, the higher your remuneration... there's no ceiling! You are paid in the form of commissions, calculated on the basis of the sales or net margin generated by the customer accounts assigned to you. On average, an Econocom agent in France earns €400K a year in commissions. But this is only an average: some earn much more.

A playground to be defined together

At Econocom, each agent has an exclusive "territory". This territory is not geographical, but consists of a list of customers and prospects, for which they have a representation mandate. When recruiting a new agent, Econocom does not provide a list of prospects. We expect candidate agents to propose a list of accounts they wish to prospect, and then check that these accounts are available. As a general rule, each agent works on a list of 20 to 30 accounts, private companies and/or public bodies.

When you're a sales agent, you're your own boss. You are 100% autonomous in organizing your work. It's up to you to decide where to set up your agency. Work on your own or recruit collaborators to support you. Rent offices from Econocom or have your own premises. Develop your business through new mandates... in line with Econocom's commercial policy, you decide how you want to develop. And that's priceless.

Becoming an Econocom sales agent requires both experience and expertise. It requires a thorough understanding of the digital ecosystem in which you will be evolving, and its various players. We're looking for seasoned salespeople with several years' experience in our industry. That's why some of our sales agents are former Econocom employees who have decided to become independent.

Econocom and the sales agent sign a mutually binding contract. The two key points of this contract are: a duty of mutual loyalty and the pursuit of common interests. These two founding principles are illustrated in the agent's contract by a set of rights and duties that determine the framework of the relationship. These include the nature of the mandate granted to the agent, the list of accounts for which he has exclusivity, and the way in which his commissions are calculated.

A sales agent may be responsible for one or more Econocom mandates. For example, you can start your agent activity with a single mandate dedicated to the distribution of products and solutions. Then, if you wish, and if you have the required expertise, you can choose to add a new mandate for Services or Technology Management & Financing. All options are open to meet your ambitions - and those of Econocom!
